Somerset Applied Karate is an established martial arts group located in the Mendip District of Somerset, UK. Our organisation specializes in teaching a specific style of Karate called ‘Applied Karate,’ which is also known as ‘Practical Karate,’ ‘Modern Karate,’ or ‘Progressive Karate.’ We concentrate on the practical aspects of hand-to-hand combat, including pad work, sparring, and self-defense drills. These training methods are suitable for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our inclusive mixed classes create a welcoming environment for families to train together.
